SV Life Sciences was founded as Schroder Ventures Life Sciences in 1993 and raised its first Fund, SV Life Sciences I, L.P. in 1994. The firm has since, raised four Funds and has approximately $1.2 billion under management. The firm makes multistage investments across the life sciences sector.

He currently serves on the Boards of Archemix, Intranasal Therapeutics, and MPex Pharma. Dr. Ross has received a Ph.D in Chemistry from CalTech. - Eugene Hill (Managing Partner): Mr. Hill joined SV Life Sciences in 1999 and brings 19 years of operating experience to the firm. He is responsible for the firm's investments in the healthcare services and healthcare IT sectors. Prior to joining SV Life Sciences, he held positions at Accel Partners, the United HealthCare Corporation, U.S Behavioral Health, and the Sierra Health and Life Insurance Company.
